The NBA-SBL is one of the specialist Sections of the NBA that was set up primarily to engender the professional development of Nigerian commercial lawyers and, thereby, raise the level of business law practice in Nigeria. Over the years, the Section has indeed raised the bar in the commercial law space, and this has engendered the adoption of global standards and best practices within the legal profession through constructive engagements and collaborations with relevant local and international institutions. This has been achieved through seminars, trainings, workshops, and, of course, our flagship conference which is the Annual Business Law Conference.

In the last ten years, ESQ Trainings Limited has emerged as the premier legal education network in Nigeria. The company has successfully trained over 27,000 executives across different industry areas. ESQ Trainings Limited holds Executive Masterclasses in Lagos, Dubai, London, and the US.

These training sessions will be led by Mark Beese, President of Leadership for Lawyers LLC, and Jim Bergman, Chief Executive Officer, Commercial Officers Group, Denver Metropolitan. This Executive Masterclass is expected amongst others, to bring together global experts and trainers from legal and business backgrounds who will share practical experiences with participants ranging from working as in-house lawyers and business managers.

The training will not only enhance participants’ knowledge but will help them explore up-to-the-minute management and leadership methodologies and techniques for operational efficiency. The programme offers a unique opportunity to share existing best practices and establish industry-wide norms with colleagues from different organizations and countries.

At the end of the programme, attendees will be able to:
