Law School Warns 18 Candidates: Submit Benchers Forms or Miss Call to Bar
The Nigerian Law School has issued an urgent notice to 18 candidates who have yet to submit their Body of Benchers forms, warning that failure to meet the deadline could prevent them from being called to the Bar.
In a notice titled “Submission of Benchers Forms” published on its official website, the institution directed affected candidates to submit their forms through the Exams and Records Office or send soft copies via the designated email address.
The candidates were also instructed to contact Mr. Idris of the Body of Benchers for additional guidance regarding the submission process.
According to the notice, all outstanding forms must be submitted on or before Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The Law School stressed that any candidate who fails to comply with the directive would not be eligible for the forthcoming Call to Bar ceremony.
The affected candidates are spread across different academic categories, including three candidates in Category 1, eight candidates in the Second Class Lower category, and seven candidates in the Pass category.
Among those listed are Orebela Maduechesi, Oluoma Umeh Onyinye, Hurerah Adamu, Aminu Adamu, Hajara Mohammed Bello, Busari Rosemary Keccy, Chibuzo Emmanuel Madabuchukwu, Ejiogu Ugochukwu Onyekachi, Emmanuel Ajana, Okoro Favour Amarachi, Taiwo Olaoluwa Colin, Gbakaan Favan Lovelyn, Obinna-Egu Adaeze Blossom, El-Yakub Salmat, Toheebh Olamilekan, Abel Ayodeji, Bette Obi Prosper Obiso, and Okoude Emmanuel.
The Nigerian Law School urged all affected candidates to treat the matter with urgency to avoid exclusion from the upcoming Call to Bar ceremony.
