The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for Plateau State Caleb Mufwang has won the gubernatorial election in the state.
Announcing the result, the State Returning Officer for Plateau State, Musa Yusuf, said “Muftwang was declared the winner and returned elected having scored the highest votes of 525,299.”
He is closely followed by the Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Nentawe Yilwatda, who scored 481,370. The Labour Party’s candidate, Patrick Dakum polled 59,410 votes to come third.
