Supreme Court Directs Counsel To Upload Case Documents For September To December 2026 Appeals Via Online Management System

The Supreme Court of Nigeria has directed all legal practitioners with matters scheduled for hearing between September and December 2026 to upload all relevant court processes through the Nigerian Case Management System, in compliance with Rule 10(1) of the Supreme Court Practice Direction, 2026.

The directive, issued by Chief Registrar Kabir E. Akanbi, applies to all appeals and motions fixed for hearing within the stated period and requires counsel to complete their uploads not later than thirty days before the scheduled hearing date of each matter.

How to Access the Scheduled Matters
Counsel are directed to follow these steps to access the list of appeals and motions fixed for hearing between September and December 2026:

● Visit the Supreme Court website at www.supremecourt.gov.ng
● Click on Litigation
Select Nigerian Case Management System (NCMS)
● Click on Download Documents
● Check the list of Appeals and Motions scheduled for hearing between September and December 2026

Documents Required for Upload
Once counsel have confirmed that their matters are listed, they are required to upload all relevant filed documents relating to those matters through the Nigerian Case Management System. The documents to be uploaded include the Record of Appeal, Briefs of Argument, pending Motions, and all other filed processes.

The thirty-day deadline ahead of each scheduled hearing date is mandatory under Rule 10(1) of the Supreme Court Practice Direction, 2026, and the court has urged all counsel to comply strictly with the requirement.
