The Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has formally sworn in four High Court Judges and three Khadis to the state judiciary.
The ceremony, held at the Niger State Liaison Office in Abuja, was presided over by the Governor and attended by senior judicial officers. According to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Bologi Ibrahim, the event coincided with the presence of the Chief Judge of Niger State, Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik, and other judicial officers in Abuja for the ongoing Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee meeting.
Governor Bago congratulated the newly appointed judicial officers, describing their elevation as a recognition of their dedication and professional competence. He reminded them of the weight of judicial responsibility and urged them to uphold the principles of fairness, impartiality, and justice in the discharge of their duties.
The Governor further assured the judges and Khadis of his administration’s continued support to strengthen the judiciary and ensure effective justice delivery in Niger State.
Newly sworn‑in judicial officers are Abubakar Adamu, Ahmad Bala Ndajiwo, Gambo Sa’adatu Abubakar, and Wushishi Sulaiman Buhari as High Court judges while Aboki Usman Abdulrahman, Mohammed Ya’aba, and Muhammad Nasir Ibrahim were sworn in as Khadis
The ceremony was witnessed by Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik, Chief Judge of Niger State; Justice Halima Sadiya Muhammad, Chief Judge of Gombe State; Mohammed Abubakar Kigera, Grand Khadi of Niger State, other judicial officers, family members, and well‑wishers
