The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch has conferred the Inspiring Icon Award on Tobenna Erojikwe, Founder and Chairman of the Board of The Practical Training Academy Ltd/Gte (TPTA).
Speaking on the recognition, Mrs. Uchenna Akingbade noted that the honour was well deserved, citing Mr. Erojikwe’s distinguished service in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) space. She recalled his four‑year tenure as Chairman of the Continuing Legal Education Committee of the NBA Lagos Branch under the Chukwuka Ikwuazom and Yemi Akangbe administrations, as well as his three and a half years as Chairman of the Board of the NBA Institute. During this period, he not only revived the Institute but also elevated CPD into a central priority for the Nigerian legal profession.
Mrs. Akingbade further commended his ongoing transformative work with TPTA, a not‑for‑profit initiative established two months ago. The Academy is dedicated to delivering high‑quality training and mentorship opportunities for Nigerian professionals, thereby advancing professional standards and capacity building across the legal sector.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Erojikwe is a Law Society of England and Wales accredited facilitator, whose contributions continue to shape the future of continuing legal education and professional development in Nigeria.
