Commencement of Online Application for Appointment of Notaries Public
The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA wishes to inform members that the Hon. Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice K.M.O. Kekere-Ekun, GCON, has approved the commencement of online applications for the appointment of Notaries Public in Nigeria.
This approval, conveyed through a letter dated 30th September 2025 by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Kabir E. Akanbi, Esq., marks a significant step towards digitizing and simplifying the process of becoming a Notary Public in Nigeria.
Accordingly, interested legal practitioners are invited to submit their applications through the dedicated online portal: https://notary.gov.ng
