Notice to Legal Practitioners on Use of NBA Anti-Money Laundering Committee Portal
On April 3, 2025, the Nigerian Bar Association Anti-Money Laundering Committe NBAAMLC) launched its new Anti-Money Laundering (AML) web portal. The portal is designed to support legal practitioners and law firms in complying with their Anti-Money Laundering, Counter-Terrorism Financing, and Counter-Proliferation Financing AML/CFT/CPF) obligations, in accordance with the Rules of Professional Conduct for Legal Practitioners (RPC) 2023 and the NBAAMLC Appointment and Examination Rules and Protocols.
Legal practitioners are encouraged to visit the portal at https://nbaaml.com/, create a user profile, and submit all relevant reports.
A video guide on how to create a profile and file reports is available here. The site also hosts key AML/CFT/CPF laws, as well as NBA regulations and guidelines.
